Membership
The Glassboro Fire Department is a combination career/volunteer department that provides 24 hour fire protection to the residents and business owners of the Borough. Working together, the 5 paid employees and 30 volunteers ensure that when a call comes in, the fire department will respond swiftly and efficiently. Our department is also proud to have Junior Firefighters with us to "learn the trade". Anyone between the ages of 16 and 18 are welcome to join. Junior Firefighters are trained on the various pieces of equipment as well as fire operations, however they are not permitted to enter burning buildings. |
